People often asks me -what is Art Photography? and it is quite difficult to put into words. As a word is one and a photograph is worth 1000 words.
Starts with a photograph. And then, when you apply some creatively-heartfelt inspired controls you create a vision of everything as what it truly is. As different and twisted or awkwardly awesome, these controls brings you actually closer to reality and takes you farther away from the diluted reality we perceive.
You might then say and understand how an Art Photograph is worth 1 million words.
I welcome you to this world. I can’t promise you that you will see or understand all of it. But, I assure you it is full of sincere emotion and hope for the hopeless. It is full of palpitatingly-chaotic calm.

On November 29, 2019, Extinction Rebellion NYC walked slowly and silently through a store, pushing empty shopping carts in a lengthy chain of non-shoppers. XR weave through the maze of store aisles, kindly inviting shoppers to take a minute's break from the destructive frenzy of consumerism.
Outside the shop emission-free holiday gift coupons as an alternative to bought holiday gifts were handed out.

Then, XR met at the Public Library for a brief centering, declaration, and group coordination. Following a walk to Macy’s to hold a meditation.
In nonviolent civil disobedience, with fierce compassion, XR NYC will stop business as usual to send a clear message: we must act now.
On Thursday, November 7, 2019 Students from Universities declared climate emergency and demanded climate justice on the streets of New York City. This is the photo-journal of the evening by Art-Photographer Daniel Graxton.

People has reminded me of how my passion for photography goes way back to my early years. There I was with a disposable camera taking pretty decent pictures of the skyscrapers in New York City.
And then a portrait of my grandfather showed me the importance of each moment to permanence. A photograph can capture a reference, a pointer, a reminder to an experiential emotion. And even more, has a remarkable story; every single photograph ever made.
This gallery is in his honor. Finally, in a very spiritual way, know these are taken by him through these eyes, winds, and hands.
When they ask me how much do I make.. I say; I make the difference. I don’t do what I do for money. I once did, and I remember those times to be the most miserable and lonely of them all.
So now, I do it because I have found the most profound of passions: compassion for all, which converted into loving kindness can benefit countless living beings.
I am a superhero, my superpower: universal compassion.
